This research aims to determine the spatial distribution of land suitability levels for food crops in the Sub-Watershed (DAS) in the Tomini Bay area, Boalemo Regency. The data was analyzed using matching techniques between land characteristics and quality with land suitability criteria for food crops based on the FAO framework and using ArcGis software with the maching method. The results of the analysis showed the suitability of potential land for food commodities for each class S2 (quite suitable) rice field covering an area of 2,368.16 ha (14.37%) and class S3 covering an area of 14,114.03 (85.63%), class S2 corn covering an area of 10,338.40 (62%) and class S3 covering an area of 6,143.80 ha (37.28%), class S2 soybean covering an area of 13,712.13 (83.19%) and class S3 covering an area of 2,770.07 ha (16.81%). Cassava class S2 (quite suitable) covering an area of 3,901.42 ha (23.67%), class S3 covering an area of 2,532.34 ha (15.36%) and class N covering an area of 10,048.44 (60.97%). The results of the analysis concluded that each food crop commodity in the research area was dominated by class (S3) 85.63% for lowland rice, soybeans quite suitable (S2) 83.19%, corn quite suitable (S2) 62%, and class not suitable (N) 60.97% for cassava commodities. The distribution of food crop commodity development in the research area was most widely directed at corn and soybean commodities with an area of 54.17%, soybeans covering an area of 20.95%, corn, soybeans, and cassava 20.07%, soybeans and cassava 1.97% and corn 0.38%
