Abstrak

This research was conducted in Posso Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, which lasted for 3 months, from May 2013 to July 2013. The aim was to determine the growth and yield of soybean plants based on tillage and spacing. This research was compiled based on factorial randomized block design with 2 factors, namely the first factor of tillage consisting of no tillage (TOT), minimum tillage, maximum tillage and second factor planting distance namely 40 x 30 cm spacing, distance planting 40 x 60 cm. The treatment was repeated three times consisting of 6 treatment combinations so that there were 18 plot samples. The results of this study indicate that the treatment of tillage does not have an effect on the growth and yield of soybean plants and in the treatment of spacing gives an influence on the growth of soybean yields.
