Abstrak

Probiotics have long been use both as a treatment for disorders of the gastrointestinal tract as well as dietary supplements. The benefits of probiotics have been extensively researched and are known, but not widely known mechanism of immunomodulatory effects of probiotics on the immune system of the elderly. The research objective was to analyze the effectiveness of the probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum IS-10 506 to increase the imune response of IL-6, and IgA LPS infection model rats Rattus norvegikus elderly Wistar strain rats compared with healthy elderly.
