Abstrak
The research aims to find out the influence of teachers certification and attitude at teachers’ profession to the pedagogic and professional competencies among of physics teacher. The research is conducted at the centre of teacher’s certification in rayon 28 of Gorontalo State University, 2011. The research method is ex post facto, treatment by 2 x 2 level, 3 times design. The respondent is stated by using the multistage sampling technique, 60 teachers. The result stated that: (1) Pedagogic and professional competencies of physical certificated teachers is higher than those who are uncertified yet, (2) The influence of interaction between certification status and attitude on the teachers’ profession towards the pedagogic and profession competencies of physical teachers, (3) The teachers who have the positive value of attitude at the profession, pedagogic and professional competencies of physics teachers is higher than uncertified yet, (4) The teachers who have the negative value on attitude at the profession, pedagogic and professional competencies of physics teacher is lower than those who are uncertified yet, (5) Pedagogic competency of the physic teachers who have certificated is higher than those who are uncertified yet, (6) The influence of certification status and attitude on the profession to the pedagogic competency of the physics teacher, (7) The teacher who have positive value towards the profession, pedagogic competency of physics teacher certificated is higher than those who are uncertified yet, (8) The teacher who have negative value on the profession, pedagogic competency of physics teacher certificated is lower than those who are uncertified yet, (9) Professional competency of physics teacher certificated is higher than those who are not certificated yet, (10) the influence of interaction between certificated status and the attitude on the profession of the physics teachers’ professional competency, and (11) The teacher who have the positive value to the profession, physics teachers’ professional competency certificated is higher than those who are uncertified yet. Finaly there is an effect certification status and attitude to profession towards professional and pedagogic competence either separately or gatherly.
