menyelesaikan soal cerita bentuk pengurangan bilangan cacah melalui penerapan
teori Polya pada siswa kelas 1 SDN 2 Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango”.

Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah “Apakah penerapan teori Polya dapat
meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita bentuk pengurangan
bilangan cacah pada siswa kelas I SDN 2 Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone
Bolango?”. Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan
menyelesaikan soal cerita bentuk pengurangan bilangan cacah melalui
penerapan teori Polya pada siswa kelas I SDN 2 Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone
Bolango.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan
kelas. Pada penelitian menggunakan ketuntasan nilai minimal 75 % dari jumlah
subyek yang diteliti dengan hasil minimal individu nilai belajar di atas 65.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I dari total jumlah siswa 25
orang yang dikenai tindakan, yang tuntas sebanyak 10 orang atau 40% dan yang
tidak tuntas sebanyak 15 orang atau 60%. Dihubungkan dengan indikator
keberhasilan penelitian yang menetapkan minimal 75% siswa memperoleh nilai
65 ke atas berarti indikator keberhasilan belum tercapai. Sehingga penelitian ini
dilanjutkan pada siklus II. Pada siklus II hasil yang dicapai yaitu dari 25 siswa
yang dikenai tindakan, yang tuntas sebanyak 21 orang atau 84% dan yang
belum tuntas 4 orang atau 16%. Hasil yang dicapai pada siklus II melebihi
indikator yang diharapkan, sehingga penelitian ini tidak dilanjutkan lagi pada
siklus berikutnya.
Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan
menyelesaikan soal cerita bentuk pengurangan bilangan cacah pada siswa kelas
1 SDN 2 Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango meningkat melalui penerapan
teori Polya

Formulation of the problem action was is “what is the application of Polya
theory can improve the ability to solve word problems in the form of a reduction
in the natural numbers I grade students of SDN 2 Bone of Bone Bolango
Kabila”. The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to solve word
problems form the natural numbers reduced trough the application of Polya
theory to the students of class I SDN 2 Bone of bone Bolango Kabila.
The method used in this study is action research methods class. In the study
using the completeness of at least 75% of the subjects studied by the minimal
value of studying individuals over 65.
The results showed that in cicle I of the total number of students are 25 people
who act, who finished as many as 10 people or 40% and who did not complete
as many as 15 people or 60%. Associated with indicators of the success of
research that establishes a minimum 75 % of students scored 65 or more
meaningful indicators of success is determined not been achieved. So the
research continued in the second cycle. In the second cycle the results achieved
from the 25 students who are subjected to the action, which finished as many as
21 people or 84% and is not yet complete as many as 4 people or 16%. Results
achieved at the second cycle indicator exceeds the expected, so the study was
discontinued in the next cycle.
From the results of research and discussion can be concluded that the ability to
solve word problems in the form of a reduction in the natural numbers I grade
students of SDN 2 Bone of Bone Bolango Kabila can be upgraded via
application Polya theory.
