Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah penerapan metode inkuiri pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode inkuiri pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang dikumpulkan dari penelitian ini berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahwa penerapan metode inkuiri pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango sudah baik. Sebab dengan diterapkannya metode inkuiri tersebut dapat membuat siswa untuk lebih melatih berfikir dalam proses belajar mengajar, dimana siswa harus mencari jawaban dari suatu masalah, saling bertukar pendapat, dan melakukan percobaan sendiri.

The problem addressed in this research was in regards of the implementation of inquiry method in IPA (Natural Science) subject in grade IV of SDN 2 Suwawa of Bone Bolango District. The research aimed to describe the implementation of the inquiry method in IPA (Natural Science) subject in grade IV of SDN 2 Suwawa of Bone Bolango District. It employed a qualitative descriptive method in which observation, interview, and documentation were applied as a procedure to collect the data.
Finding of research revealed that the implementation of inquiry method in IPA (Natural Science) subject in grade IV of SDN 2 Suwawa of Bone Bolango District had been good due to it succeeded in training students thinking during teaching and learning process, where they required toseek answer from certain problem, to have a mutual opinion exchange. and to do self-experine,
