Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah "Bagaimana kesalahan penggunaan ejaan dalam paragraf deskriptif pada siswa kelas V SDN 83 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo?". Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kesalahan penggunaaan ejaan dalam paragraf deskriptif pada siswa kelas V SDN 83 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan penggunaan ejaan dalam paragraf deskriptif pada siswa kelas V SDN 83 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Dari 23 orang siswa, 9 orang siswa yang mengalami tingkat kesalahan rendah, 3 orang siswa mengalami tingkat kesalahan menengah, dan 11 orang siswa mengalami tingkat kesalahan tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan ejaan dalam paragraf deskriptif pada siswa kelas V SDN 83 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo masih banyak kesalahan.

The problem statement of this study is "How is an error spelling in the descriptive paragraph on the students of grade V Elementary School SDN 83, Kota Tengah, Gorontalo City?" The purpose of this study is to analyze the error of spelling use in descriptive paragraphs on grade V students at Elementary School SDN 83 Kota Tengah Gorontalo city. This research used a descriptive method.
The results of this study show that the use of spelling in descriptive paragraphs on students of grade V SDN 83 Kota Tengah Gorontalo City out of 23 students, 9 students had low error rates, 3 students had an intermediate error rate, and 11 students had high error rates. Hence, it can be concluded that the use of spelling in descriptive paragraph on grade V students at Elementary School SDN 83, Kota Tengah, Gorontalo City still has many errors.
