Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh metode karya wisata terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan bebas pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Bulango Timur Kabupaten Bone Bolango? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode karya wisata terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan bebas pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Bulango Timur Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif metode eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes (pretest dan posttest) sedangkan observasi dan dokumentasi adalah penunjang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V sebanyak 21 siswa.
Hasil perolehan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 34,52 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 75,95. Hasil penelitian tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil uji t yang menyebutkan bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu 24,51 > 2,09 pada taraf 0,05. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dalam hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode karya wisata terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan bebas pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Bulango Timur Kabupaten Bone Bolango.

The goal of this study is to find out whether or not study tour contributes to essay writing skills of grade v students of Elementary School SDN 2 Bulango Timur, Bone Bolango Regency. This is formulated from the problem statement of the research. Furthermore, this quantitative (experimental) research employed one group pretest-posttest design. The primary data were collected from the result of pre and posttest, and the secondary data were generated from interview and documentation. The subject of this study involved 21 grade V students in the research area.
The average result of pre and posttest is 34.52 and 75.95 respectively. This is emphasized by the result of t-test revealing that tcount > ttable or 24.51 > 2.09, at the level 0.05, meaning that the H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In other words, study tour influences writing skills of the students in the research area.
