The purpose of this study is to analyze the stylistic devices in photo caption of newsweek.com and to figure out the most used Stylistic Devices in these captions. The data analyzed was twenty captions that used language style. By this study, researcher concludes that alliteration is the most used stylistic devices in the captions of Newsweek.com. Alliteration appeared twelve times, then ellipsis four times, metonymy and hyperbole, personification and assonance. Research used descriptive qualitative method to analyze the data. Also, close reading as the technique of analyzing data. Source of data in this study were from the Newsweek.com. The researcher took out twenty caption indicated as language style then used some step to classify the data. Meanwhile, the sources such as textbook, journal, internet document, literary work and article, which included in library research also used as the secondary data.
