This research aims to analyze a short story, The Tell-Tale Heart, which tells about a man who killed an old man just because he has vulture eyes, based on the structural elements of the short story. The type of this research is qualitative research which is used structural approach as the approach in conducting the research. The primary data of this research were taken from the short story, The Tell-Tale Heart, written by Edgar Allan Poe, which is published in 1843. The secondary data of this research were taken from the other media such as book, article, and internet. Both of the primary and secondary data were analyzing by note taking, data classifying and summarizing, and data interpretation. The data finding shows the character and characterization, setting, plot, point of view, and theme of the short story.
