Abstrak

Sulitnya mendapatkan informasi mengenai sarana dan prasarana sekolah ditambah dengan kondisi serta jumlah sekolah yang relatif banyak di Kota Gorontalo menyebabkan pengawasan mutu layanan pendidikan belum optimal.
Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk memetakan lokasi beserta sarana dan prasarana pada SD/MI di Kota Gorontalo serta merancang dan membangun Sistem Infromasi Geografis berbasis web untuk menyajikan hal dimaksud, sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas pengawasan mutu layanan pendidikan.
Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa peta sebaran lokasi SD/MI di kota Gorontalo yang di layout dengan skala 1 : 45.000 pada ukuran kertas A3, serta sebuah SIG yang didesain dengan teknik RWD (Responsive Web Design). Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang telah dibangun sudah mampu memenuhi kebutuhan user, dan mampu diakses oleh sembarang perangkat akses dengan konten yang adaptif dengan resolusi perangkat akses.

ABSTRACT
The difficulty in obtaining information related to school facilities and infrastructure and their condition and plenty of schools in Gorontalo city has made educational service quality supervison not optimal.
This research aim at mapping the location and facilities and infrastructure in elementary school and madrasah ibtidaiyah (SD/MI) in Gorontalo city, and designing and developing web-based geographic information system to provide the data. This is one of the efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of educational quality service supervision.
The outcome of this research is a distributional map of SD/MI in Gorontalo city which is layout in a scale of 1:45.000 on A3 paper, and a GIS designed with the Responsive Web Design (RWD) technique. Based on the trial conducted on the product, is shwos that the system is able to fulfill users need, and is able to be accessed by people with content that can be adjusted with the resolution of the handset used to access it.
