Abstrak
WASLIAH SYAWAL. Decision Support System Of Residence Determination By Using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method (Supervised by Hidayat Koniyo, ST., M.Kom and Arip Mulyanto, S.Kom., M.Kom).
The increasing demand for housing will follow the rapid growth of population. However, the current people mostly want to have houses constructed in their land, but it complicated them in predicting the cost of it. Additionally, some people are also difficult to determine appropriate residence design and type based on their budget. The research aimed to apply Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method as decision support system related to residential construction. The research applied prototype system development method as the methodology. Research finding showed that AHP method could be applied as decision support system for the residence determination as it considers logical consistency in the assessment for obtaining a priority. The priority criteria determination could assist people or user in selecting house criteria based on priority in the system, and the system would proceed the admin automatically. The AHP method is proven to facilitate people in having priority house criteria recommendation, and it could ease people in predicting the cost needed to build a house as well as in knowing certain parts of the house needed based on the budget. Also, it could help people knowing material use needed.
