Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan passing atas siswa pada permainan bola voli di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Cara pemecahannya dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan passing atas pada permaian bola voli dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas X MIA2 SMA Negeri 1 Tapa Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Peningkatan penguasaan siswa akan meningkat jika presentase rata-rata jumlah siswa yang sudah mampu menguasai kemampuan passing atas pada permainan bola voli dapat ditingkatkan minila 80%. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa dengna dua siklus ini indikator kinerja yang telah dirumuskan tercapai dengan baik.

Abstract
This classroom action research aims to determine the increase in the ability of passing on the permaian volleyball using cooperative learning model type STAD in class X SMA Negeri 1 Tapa MIA2 Bone Bolango District. Increasing mastery of students will increase if the percentage of the average number of students who are able to master the ability of passing on the volleyball games can be improved minila 80%. The research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the research that these two cycles dengna performance indicators that have been formulated achieved well. The results showed that the increase of learning passing on in a game of volleyball through cooperative learning model type STAD with the acquisition of learning outcomes of preliminary observations amounted to 59.42, in the first cycle increased learning outcomes at 71.73, then researchers went on the second cycle gained an average of learning outcomes student at 81.92, then the research was complete
