Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the settlement of spread footing by taking the condition of the groundwater table into account in several sub-districts in Gorontalo City. Gorontalo City is an area that is currently growing in Gorontalo Province. The impact of this is the increasing development in Gorontalo City. In building construction, a lot of data and studies are needed to support its construction, one of which is soil characteristic data. The research locations were in Dungingi District, Kota Barat District, and Sipatana District, Gorontalo City. The data used is in the form of primary data, namely groundwater level data and soil characteristics data. The location of the well observations was carried out near the soil sampling point in Dungingi Village, South Tomulabutao District, Sipatana District's Tanggikiki Village, and West City District's Buliide Village. Foundation Settlement analysis using GEO5. The lowest settlement value is located in the west city district, with the original groundwater level (z > B) of 49,60 mm < 65 mm and the planned groundwater level (dw > Df) of 50,60 mm < 65 mm. The highest settlement value is located in Sipatana District with the original groundwater level (z 65 mm and the planned groundwater level (dw > Df) of 705,60 mm > 65 mm.
