Abstrak

Research aims to understand the influence of the use of mulch and treatment best to growth and the production of caisin (Brassica juncea L.) on many kinds of mulch. This study was conducted in october until december 2013, in the Village Pangi Subdistrict Suwawa District Bone Bolango east. Uses the research design random the group consisting of 4 treatment and 3 remedial. Knowledge is control, mulch straw, mulch reeds, and mulch sawdust. Parameter examined is the number of dominance the ratio of the weeds, tall plant, number of leaves, and a heavy wetness. The ratio of the the number of dominance showed the identification weed where at the time of identification before planting and at the same time as harvest cyperus rotundus dominated the number of weed that is in the area planting. Treatment kind of mulch had an impact on their the growth of plants caisin namely parameter tall plant 30 hss and number of leaves 15 hss .
