Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Apakah ada Hubungan Antara Dukungan Sosial Dengan Konsep Diri Siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo?. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Hubungan Antara Dukungan Sosial Dengan Konsep Diri Siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo
Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional yang terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu variable X (dukungan sosial) dan variable Y (konsep diri). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VIII berjumlah 90 orang dan yang dijadikan sample penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa
Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang disebar secara langsung, data dianalisis dengan menggunakan satatistik non parametrik dalam hal ini menggunakan korelasi rank. Untuk dukungan sosial harga rata-rata (X) = 91,90 serta simpangan baku = 5,90, untuk konsep diri harga rata-rata (X) = 88,70 serta simpangan baku = 6,32, berdasarkan angka rata-rata ini menunjukan bahwa kriteria dukungan sosial dan konsep diri siswa berada pada kategori cukup untuk harga = 0,37 yang > dari daftar = 0,306 dan harga zhitung = 2,84. Berdasarkan analisis statistika korelasional pada taraf nyata 5 %. Diperoleh nilai zhitung adalah 2,84 yang > dari ztabel = 1,96. Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehinggaterdapat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan konsep diri siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalodapat diterima.

The research problem is Is there any correlation between social support and students self-concept at SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo? The research aims at determining the correlation between social support and student self-concept at SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo.
Moreover, this research employs a correlational method consisting of two variables, namely variable X (social support) and variable Y (self-concept). The population in this study is the whole students in Grade VIII totaling 90 people, while the research samples are 60 students.
The data collection technique applies questionnaires that are distributed directly. Then, the obtained data are analyzed using non-parametric statistics with a rank correlation coefficient. Social support obtains an average price (X) of 91.90 and a standard deviation of 5.90. While, the self-concept gains the average price (X) of 88.70 and a standard deviation of 6.32. This average number indicates that the social support and students self-concept criteria are in the sufficient category. This research also obtained the price of of 0.37, which is higher than list of 0.306 and zcount value of 2.84. At the same time, the correlational statistical analysis at the 5% significance level obtains the zcount of 2.84 which is higher than Ztable of 1.96. Then, H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Thus, the hypothesis states that there is a correlation between social support and students self-concept at SMP Negeri 3 Gorontalo can be accepted.
