Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pembinaan kesiswaan di Islamic Boarding School dengan sub fokusnya: (1) penerimaan siswa baru yang terdiri dari pembinaan kedisiplinan di lingkungan sekolah dan pendidikan bela negara, (2) pembinaan keagamaan yang terdiri dari pembinaan keagamaan dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler dan pembinaan keagamaan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta (3) evaluasi pembinaan kesiswaan yang terdiri dari penilaian, reward dan punishment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) pembinaan kedisiplinan, (2) pembinaan keagamaan, dan (3) evaluasi pembinaan kesiswaan di SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) pembinaan kedisiplinan mengadopsi sistem militer misalnya kegiatan latsardik yang bertujuan untuk membentuk kedisiplinan siswa yang dilatih oleh TNI dan Polri, pembiasaan memberi salam dan hormat setiap bertemu dengan orang yang lebih tua, menaati adab makan, pengawasan secara melekat dan pembentukan organisasi PKS dan Poltar dan peraturan kehidupan siswa, (2) pembinaan keagamaan yang mengadopsi pembinaan semi pesantren, misalnya wajib melaksanakan sholat lima waktu secara berjamaah, mengikuti kegiatan pembinaan Agama Islam, seperti baca tulis Al-Quran, ceramah, khutbah jumat, kajian keliling, khutbah jumat keliling dan dauroh empat puluh hari dan bekerja sama dengan pihak ketiga dalam melakukan pembinaan keagamaan dan (3) evaluasi pembinaan keagamaan dilakukan dengan pemberian point bagi peserta didik yang berprestasi diberikan point plus dan pelanggar diberikan point minus, penerapan sistem reward dan sistem punishment yang dapat memotivasi dan memberikan efek jera kepada peserta didik. Dengan adanya pembinaan, peserta didik mampu menjadi pribadi yang mandiri, disiplin, berwawasan kebangsaan dan berakhlaqul kharimah.

This study focuses on student counselling at Islamic Boarding School, including: (1) admission of new students consisting of disciplinary counselling in school environment and national defense education, (2) religious counselling consisting of religious counselling in intracurricular activities and religious counselling in extracurricular activities, (3) evaluation of student counselling consisting of assessment, reward, and punishment. This study aims to describe: (1) disciplinary counselling, (2) religious counselling, and (3) evaluation of student counseling at SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo. This study used qualitative approach with case study. Data were collected by using observation, interview and documentation. Data were analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results show: (1) disciplinary counselling adopted a military system such as basic discipline and religious training (latsardik) aimed at forming the discipline trained by Army and Police Officers of Indonesia, fostering the habits of respecting elderly, eating ethics, supervision inherent, and establishment of school security guards (Patroli Keamanan Sekolah or PKS) and young police cadets (Polisi Taruna or Poltar), and constituting rules at school, (2) religious counselling that adopts the semi-Islamic boarding school system; for example, the students must perform the five prayers in congregation and participate in activities of religious counselling, such as reciting Al-Quran, joining religious lectures, Friday sermons, study tour, and organizing forty days of religious training (daurah) by collaborating with related stakeholders in conducting religious counselling, and (3) evaluation of religious counselling is carried out by giving plus points for high-achievement students and minus points for those who against the rules. This is followed by the application of rewarding and punishment system that can motivate and give deterrent effect to the students. All in all, counselling program is able to improve the students' independence, discipline, nationality knowledge, and morals.
