This study aims to describe (1) the practice of instructional leadership by female school principal at SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo, (2) the impact of female principal instructional leadership on teacher self-efficacy. The research method is qualitative. Data collection techniques used (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. Data analysis using flow. Data analysis using content analysis with a qualitative approach. The results showed: (1) the practice of instructional leadership carried out by female principal at SMA 1 Gorontalo starting from setting learning goals, creating a learning climate, and the ability to organize learning was good based on teacher participation in trainings that could motivate teachers; (2) the impact of female principal instructional leadership on teacher self-efficacy is seen from the confidence of a teacher, and the teacher capacity is good based on the teacher performance assessment by the principal. For that it is recommended: (1)for school principal, it is expected to increase teacher confidence in the teaching process; (2) shareeducators are expected to be more creative and innovative in the application of learning methods; (3) other researchers are expected to be able to deepen this research, especially in aspects that have not been studied by researchers.
