Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bumi dan alam semesta di kelas IV MIM Molowahu Kecamatan Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo?”. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bumi dan alam semesta melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD di kelas IV MIM Molowahu Kecamatan Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis persentase. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap awal, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap pemantauan dan evaluasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan pembelajaran kooperative tipe STAD. Pada observasi awal hanya sebesar hanya sebanyak 8 siswa (32.00%) dari 21 siswa yang memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dalam belajar, pada siklus I hal ini mengalami peningkatan 15 siswa (71.43%). Pada siklus II jumlah ini mengalami peningkatan menjadi 19 siswa (90,47%) dari 21 siswa yang ada di MIM Molowahu Kecamatan Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo yang memiliki hasil belajar sesuai dengan yang diharapkan
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada materi Bumi dan Alam Semesta dapat ditingkatkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.

The method used in this research is descriptive method. With observational data collection techniques and documentation. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of the percentage. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of the initial stage, the stage of implementation actions, monitoring and evaluation stage. The results showed that the results of student learning can be enhanced through the use of learning type STAD kooperative. At the initial observation of only just as much as 8 students (32.00%) of the 21 students who have high motivation in learning, in this cycle I have increased 15 students (71.43%). In the second cycle this number increased to 19 students (90.47%) of 21 students in the District of MIM Molowahu Tibawa Gorontalo district who has studied the results are as expected Based on these results we can conclude that the learning outcomes of students in the matter of Earth and the Universe can be enhanced through cooperative learning model of type STAD.
