ABSTRAK Erlis Supu, NIM 151 408 054 2012 Meningkatkan kemampuan mengubah pecahan biasa ke bentuk persen melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) pada siswa kelas V SDN 83 Kecamatan Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, Pembimbing I Dra.Martianty Nalole M, Pd, dan Pembimbing II Ismail Pioke, S.Pd, M.Pd Rumusan Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengubah pecahan biasa ke bentuk persen pada siswa kelas V SDN 83 Kec. Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo? Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatan kemampuan mengubah pecahan biasa ke bentuk persen melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team assisted individualization (TAI). Metode penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 27 siswa yang terdiri dari 9 orang siswa laki-laki dan 18 orang siswa perempuan di kelas V SDN No 83 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo 2011-2012 Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada kegiatan siklus I untuk hasil evaluasi capaian siswa yang memperoleh nilai minimal 70 ke atas hanya 18 orang siswa atau 67 %. sedangkan untuk tindakan pembelajaran siklus II, hasil evaluasi capaian siswa telah meningkat hingga mencapai 25 orang siswa atau 93 % dari hasil sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team assisted individualization (TAI) kemampuan mengubah pecahan biasa ke bentuk persen menunjukan keberhasilan meningkat. Pd, M Pd Problem formulation in this study is Is using cooperative learning model of Team Assisted Individualization type (TAI) can enhance the ability of the V grade students of SDN 83 district. Central city in turning ordinary fraction into a percentage of increase? The research goal is to improve the ability to convert fractions to a common form of cooperative learning models per cent over the type of team assisted individualization (TAI). The research method is a Class Action Research with the subjects in this study were 27 students consisting of 9 students male and 18 female students in grade V Central City Elementary School No. 83 2011-2012 Gorontalo City The results obtained on the activities of the I cycle to the performance evaluation of students with grades of at least 70 visible only 18 students or 67%. whereas for the second cycle of action learning, student evaluation results capain has increased to 25 students or 93% from the previous results. Conclusions from the study that, through cooperative learning model type team assisted individualization (TAI) the ability to transform ordinary fractions into percentages indicate the expected success of appropriate indicators.
