Rumusan masalah dalam peneitian ini apakah dengan menggunakan model artikulasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menggunakan diksi dalam berbicara?. Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam penggunaan diksi di kelas V SDN 2 Padengo, dengan menggunakan model artikulasi.
Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode ini digunakan dengan maksud untuk memberikan gambaran terhadap keadaan peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam penggunaan diksi melalui model artikulasi di kelas V di SDN 2 Padengo.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, siklus I kemampuan berbicra siswa dalam penggunaan diksi melalui model artikulasi meningkat menjadi 11 orang siswa atau 55% dari jumlah 20 orang siswa, sedangkan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yakni sebanyak 17 orang siswa atau 85% dari jumlah 22 orang siswa. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam penggunaan diksi melalui model artikulasi di kelas V SDN 2 Padengo Kecamatan Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo telah teruji dengan benar dan dapat diterima”

Formulation of the problem in this fieldwork is to use a model of articulation can improve the ability to use diction in speaking?. The main objective of this research is to improve students' speaking skills in the use of diction in the SDN 2 Padengo V class, using the model of articulation.
In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method. This method is used in order to provide an overview of the status of an increase in students' speaking skills in the use of diction through the articulation of the model in class V in the SDN 2 Padengo.
The research was conducted in two cycles, I cycle berbicra ability students in the use of diction through the articulation of the model increased to 11 students or 55% of the total 20 students, whereas in the second cycle there was an increase that as many as 17 students or 85% of the total 22 people students. Thus, it can be concluded that the ability to speak the students in the use of diction through the articulation of the model in the class V SDN 2 Padengo District West Limboto Gorontalo Regency properly tested and acceptable "
