Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah penerapan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi energi gerak di kelas IV MIS Molas Kecamatan Bongomeme?”. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi energi gerak pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui metode demonstrasi di Kelas IV MIS Molas Kecamatan Bongomeme.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis persentase. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap awal, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, tahap pemantauan dan evaluasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi energi gerak. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan capaian hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari observasi awal hanya 7 siswa atau 41.18% yang menunjukkan hasil belajar yang tuntas. Sedangkan 10 siswa atau 58.82% yang memiliki hasil belajar rendah. Pada siklus I hal tersebut mengalami peningkatan menjadi 11 siswa atau 64.71%, sedangkan siswa yang belum tuntas dalam belajar yaitu sebanyak 6 siswa atau 35.29%. Daya serap siswa pada siklus I ini meningkat menjadi 7.88. Pada siklus II Jumlah siswa yang hasil belajarnya meningkat menjadi 15 siswa atau 88.23% yang memiliki hasil belajar tuntas dalam pembelajaran IPA, sedangkan 2 siswa atau 11.76% belum memiliki hasil belajar tuntas khususnya dalam materi energi gerak.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada materi energi gerak dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode demonstrasi.

While the purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in the energy of motion of matter in science subjects through the method of demonstration in Class IV MIS Bongomeme Molas subdistrict. The method used in this research is descriptive method. With observational data collection techniques and documentation. Data analysis technique used is the analysis of the percentage. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of the initial stage, the stage of implementation actions, monitoring and evaluation stage. The results showed that the use of demonstration methods to improve student learning outcomes in the energy of motion of matter. This is demonstrated by the achievements of student learning outcomes have increased from the initial observation of only 7 students or 41.18% which shows the results of a thorough study. While 10 students or 58.82% have a low learning outcomes. On the cycle I increased it to 11 students or 64.71%, while students who have not completed the study as many as 6 students or 35.29%. Absorptive capacity of students in the cycle I was increased to 7.88. In the second cycle the number of students learning to increase to 15 students or 88.23% have completed the learning outcomes of learning science, while the two students or 11.76% have not been studied thoroughly, especially in the energy of motion of matter. Based on these results we can conclude that student learning outcomes in the energy of motion of matter can be enhanced through the method of demonstration.
