Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah dengan menggunakan
Metode Euclides dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas V SDN No. 1 Kota
Barat Kota Gorontalo dalam menentukan FPB dua bilangan akan meningkat?”.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menentukan FPB
dua bilangan dengan Metode Euclides pada siswa kelas V SDN No. 1 Kota Barat
Kota Gorontalo.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian
tindakan kelas dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus.
Adapun hasil penelitian tindakan kelas pada siklus I belum menghasilkan
yang bermakna bagi siswa. Dalam hal ini capaian kemampuan siswa pada siklus I
menunjukkan bahwa dari 27 orang siswa yang dikenai tindakan hanya 14 orang
siswa atau 51,85 % yang memperoleh nilai 70 ke atas, sedangkan pada siklus II
meningkat dimana siswa yang memperoleh nilai 70 ke atas 22 orang atau
81,48%.
Dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan
bahwa dengan digunakan Metode Euclides dalam pembelajaran, maka
kemampuan siswa kelas V SDN No. 1 Kota Barat dalam menentukan FPB dua
bilangan meningkat.

Problems in this study is "What is the use of Euclidean methods can
improve the ability of the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Kota Barat Gorontalo
city in determining FPB of two numbers be increased?" The purpose of this study
is to Increase Capabilities Determine FPB of Two Numbers With the method of
Euclid at the fifth grade students SDN No 1 Kota Barat, the city of Gorontalo
The method used in this study is action research methods class and
implemented in two cycles.
The results of research on class actions have not produced in the first cycle
of learning that are meaningful to students. In this case the achievement of student
learning outcomes in students first cycle showed that of 27 students who are the
actions of just 14 people or 51.85% of students who obtained a score above 70,
whereas in the second cycle increases where students score above 70 increased to
22 students or 81.48%.
From the research conducted class actions can be inferred when using the
Euclidean method of learning, the ability of the fifth grade students at SDN No.1
Kota Barat in determining the FPB of two numbers is increased.
