Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Dengan Pembimbing I Dra. Evi Hasim, M. Pd dan Pembimbing II Dra. Dajani Suleman, M. Hum.
Permasalahan dari penelitian ini yakni bagaimana kemampuan siswa mendeskripsikan isi gambar di kelas II SDN No 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa mendeskripsikan isi gambar di kelas II SDN No. 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa kemampuan siswa mendeskripsikan isi gambar dari sejumlah 18 siswa yang mampu mendeskripsikan isi gambar hanya 6 siswa (33.33%), yang kurang mampu 5 siswa (27.78%) sementara 7 Siswa (38.89%) diantaranya tidak mampu mendeskripsikan isi gambar.
Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan siswa mendeskripsikan isi gambar di kelas II SDN No 64 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo hanya 33.33% dari 18 siswa yang mampu dalam mendeskripsikan isi gambar. Artinya hanya 6 siswa yang mampu dalam mendeskripsikan isi gambar sedangkan 38.89% atau 7 siswa yang tidak mampu dalam mendeskripsikan isi gambar. Hal ini dikarenakan kemampuan berbicara siswa yang masih sangat rendah.

Problems of this research is how the student's ability to describe the contents of the picture on the class II SDN No. 64 East City Gorontalo. The pupose of this study is to describe the contents of the picture on the class II SDN No. 64 East City Gorontalo.
Based on the results of research conducted that student's ability to describe the contents of a picture of a total of 18 students were able to describe the picture content is only 6 students (33.33%), which are less capable of 5 students (27.78%) while 7 students (38.89%) where not able to describe the contents of the picture.
Based on the results of this research can be concluded that the ability of students to describe the contents of the picture on the class II SDN No 64 East City Gorontalo only 33.33% of the 18 students who where able to describe the content of the picture. This means that only 6 students are able to describe the content of the image, while 38.89% or 7 students who are not able to describe the content of the image. This is because their speaking ability is still low.
