Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah "Apakah terdapat pengaruh model kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas III SDN 42 Hulontalangi. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas III SDN 42 Hulontalangi Kota Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif metode true eksperiment dengan rancangan one pretest posttest Design.
Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif think pair share berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil tes awal (pretest) skor tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa adalah 87 dan skor terendah adalah 33. Pada tes akhir (posttest) skor tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa adalah 96 dan skor terendah adalah 57. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai siswa pada tes akhir (posttest). Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji t test yang dilakukan, diperoleh harga thitung sebesar 8,02 dan data yang diperoleh berdasarkan distribusi ttabel sebesar 1,72. Jika dibandingkan hasil antara thitung dengan ttabel maka harga thitung lebih besar dari harga ttabel. Sehingga hasil pengujian hipotesis menerima Ha, karena nilai thitung > ttabel. Artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas III SDN 42 Hulontalangi Kota Gorontalo.

The problem statement of this research " is there any influence of cooperative model learning think pair share towards students' learning outcomes on social sciences at grade 3 SDN 42 Hulontalangi. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of cooperative model learning think pair share towards students' learning outcomes on social science at grade 3 SDN 42 Hulontalangi, Gorontalo city. Additionally, the sort of research that is used in this study primarily is qualitative research design, True Experiment by one pretest posttest design.
The result of this study concludes that the use of Think Pair Share gives influence towards students' learning outcomes. The first test (pretest) the highest score obtained by students were 87 and the lowest score were 33. Further, at the last test (posttest) the highest score obtained by students were 96 and the lowest score were 57. The result above shows there is an enhancement on students' score at the last test (posttest). The hypotheses examination with t test is obtained the price tcountabout 8, 02 and the obtained data based on the distribution ttableabout 1,72. In addition, if the result of tcountis compared to thettable, then the price of tcountwas bigger than the price of ttable. Hence, the result of hypotheses examination accepted Ha, because the score of tcount>ttable, meaning there was an influence of cooperative model learning think pair share type towards students' learning outcomes on social science at grade 3 SDN 42 Hulontalangi, Gorontalo city.
