Rendi Hasan 2015. Pengaruh Pendekatan Ilmiah Model Group Investigation (GI) Terhadap Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Pada Pembelajaran IPA di Kelas V SDN 84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Skripsi Program Studi S1 PGSD Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh pendekatan ilmiah group investigation terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SDN 84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo?. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh pendekatan Ilmiah model group investigation terhadap aktivitas pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SDN 84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo.
Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Group Investigation pada kelas eksperimen yakni di kelas VA dan konvensional di kelas VB dengan tahap persiapan awal yakni persiapan instrumen pengamatan siswa dan terakhir pemberian postest di kedua kelas dengan perlakuan berbeda tersebut. Hasil penelitian dari instrumen pengamatan siswa pada kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata 49,55 dan kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata 79,24. Rata-rata nilai hasil dari aktivitas belajar siswa melalui postest yakni di kelas kontrol di peroleh rata-rata nilai 5,25 sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen di peroleh rata-rata nilai 7,98.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model group investigation terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa lebih aktif dan cepat membuat siswa paham karena ada keaktifan, keterlibatan serta kerja sama pada siswa kelas V di SDN 84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo.

The problem in this research is the influence of the scientific approach group investigation on the activities of students in science teaching in class V SDN 84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo?. The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of the model group investigation Scientific approach to science teaching activities in class V SDN 84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo.
The model used in this study is a model of Group Investigation in the experimental class in the class VA and VB Conventional classroom with the initial preparation stage of preparation of students and the last observation instruments giving postest in both classes with such different treatment. The results of the observation instrument control class students on the average value of 49.55 and the experimental class average value of 79.24. The average value of the results of the activity of student learning in the classroom through the posttest gain control at an average value of 5.25, while the experimental class in obtainable an average value of 7.98.
Based on the research results it can be concluded that the use of the model group investigation on the student learning activities more actively and quickly make students understand because there is liveliness, engagement and cooperation in the fifth grade students at SDN 84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo.
