Adapun yang menjadi rumusan masalah dalam penelitian in adalah bagaimana deskripsi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan siswa memahami operasi hitung bilangan bulat di kelas tinggi SDN 72 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo? Dengan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan siswa memahami operasi hitung bilangan bulat di kelas tinggi SDN 72 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo.Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif.
Dari hasil penelitian dan analisis data tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan siswa memahami operasi hitung bilangan bulat di kelas tinggi SDN No 72 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo menggambarkan bahwa faktor internal yang meliputi indikator intelektual siswa memperoleh rata-rata persentase 62%, indikator motivasi siswa memperoleh rata-rata persentase 60% dan indikator kondisi fisik memperoleh rata-rata persentase 23%. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yang meliputi indikator media dan metode pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata persentase 53%.
Jadi, disimpulkan bahwa indikator yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap kesulitan siswa memahami operasi hitung bilangan bulat di kelas tinggi SDN No 72 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo adalah indikator intelektual siswa.

As for the formulation of the problem in research in is how the description of the factors that influence student difficulties understanding the integer arithmetic operation in high class SDN 72 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo? With the obtained of this research was to describe the factors that influence student difficulties understanding the integer arithmetic operation in high class SDN 72 Kota Timur. The research method is quantitative descriptive.
From the research and analysis of data about the factors that affect the difficulty students understand the integer arithmetic operation in high class SDN No. 72 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo illustrate that internal factors which include indicators of intellectual students gain an average percentage of 62%, to obtain indicators of student motivation the average percentage of 60% and an indicator of physical condition to obtain an average percentage of 23%. While external factors that include indicators of media and teaching methods gained an average percentage of 53%.
So, it can be concluded that the indicator greatest effect on student difficulties understanding the integer arithmetic operation in high class SDN No. 72 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo is an indicator of intellectual students.
