Firdaus Potale. 2013. Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Denah melalui Metode Latihan pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN Torosiaje Jaya Kecamatan Popayato Kabupaten Pohuwato. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Denah melalui Metode Latihan pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN Torosiaje Jaya Kabupaten Pohuwato..
Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian tindakan kelas. penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk siklus yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu, Tahap Persiapan, Tahap Pelaksanaan tindakan, Tahap Pemantauan dan evaluasi, Tahap Analisis dan refleksi
Berdasarkan uraian hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pada siklus 1 dari 24 aspek yang diamati hanya 15 atau 62.5% aspek yang dilaksanakan, kemudian 5 aspek atau 37.5 % tidak dilaksanakan. Pada kegiatan guru siklus 2 dari 24 aspek yang diamati 83.33 dilaksanakan oleh guru pada pembelajaran, kemudian 4 atau 16.67 % belum dilaksanakan oleh guru. Kemampuan siswa membaca denah pada siklus 1 pada aspek kesesuaian isi dengan objek terdapat 8 atau 44.5% siswa berada pada kategori mampu, 7 atau 38.88%. Untuk aspek Pemahaman Isi terdapat 9 atau 50% berada pada kategori mampu, Sedangkan aspek Penalaran dalam menangkap/Memahami Isi terdapat 6 atau 33.33% berada pada kategori mampu. Sedangkan aspek Kecepatan terdapat 9 atau 50% berada pada kategori mampu. Pada siklus 2 pada aspek kesesuaian isi dengan objek terdapat 16 atau 88.88 % siswa berada pada kategori mampu, Untuk aspek Pemahaman Isi 16 atau 88.88 % siswa berada pada kategori mampu. Sedangkan aspek Penalaran dalam menangkap/Memahami Isi terdapat 14 atau 77.78% berada pada kategori mampu. Sedangkan aspek Kecepatan terdapat 15 atau 83.33% berada pada kategori mampu. Sehingga dengan menggunakan metode latihan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa Kelas IV dalam membaca denah di SDN Torosiaje Kecamatan Popayato Kabupaten Pohuwato telah terbukti dan dapat diterima

This study aims to improve the ability Reading Plan through training method in Class IV Torosiaje Jaya SDN Pohuwato.
The method used in the classroom action research. The research carried out in the form of a cycle that consists of 4 stages , Stage Preparation , Implementation Phase action , monitoring and evaluation phase, Phase Analysis and reflection
Based on the description of the results of this study concluded that In cycle 1 of 24 aspects are observed only 15 or 62.5 % were implemented aspects, then the 5 aspects or 37.5 % are not implemented. In the second cycle teachers activities of 24 aspects of the observed 83.33 undertaken by teachers on learning, then 4 or 16.67 % have not been implemented by the teacher. The ability of students to read the plan in cycle 1 on aspects conformity with the contents of the object are 8 or 44.5 % of students were in the category of capable, 7 or 38.88 %. Content for understanding aspects there are 9 or 50 % are in the category of capable, while aspects of the reasoning in the capture / Understanding the Contents contained 6 or 33.33 % are in category capable . While the speed aspect , there are 9 or 50 % are in category capable . In cycle 2 on aspects of the suitability of the content of the object there are 16 or 88.88 % of students were in the category of able , for understanding aspects of the contents of 16 or 88.88 % of students were in the category capable . While aspects of the reasoning in the capture / Understanding the Contents contained 14 or 77.78 % are in category capable . While there are aspects of Speed 15 or 83.33 % are in category capable. Therefore, by using the method of exercise can increase the ability of Class IV students in reading floor plans in the District Torosiaje SDN Torosiaje Jaya Pohuwato has been proven and accepted.
