Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa
kelas V SDN 8 Tapa Kabupaten Bone Bolango melalui pendekatan contextual
teaching learning (CTL). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian
tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus.
Hasil penelitian pada siklus I dari 13 siswa hanya 6 siswa atau 46.16 % yang
memperoleh nilai 75 ke atas sedangkan 7 siswa atau 53.84 % yang memperoleh
nilai 75 ke bawah. Pada siklus II sudah mencapai target karena dari 13 siswa, 12
orang atau 92.30 % memperoleh nilai 75 ke atas sedangkan 1 orang atau 7.70 %
memperoleh nilai 75 ke bawah.
Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis puisi melalui pendekatan
contextual teaching learning (CTL) pada siswa kelas V SDN 8 Tapa Kabupaten
Bone Bolango dapat ditingkatkan.
Kata Kunci : Menulis Puisi, Pendekatan CTL.

This research aims at investigating students' skill in writing poetry through
Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) approach on students of grade V in SDN 8
Tapa,Bone Bolango District. The method of research is classroom action research
which consists of 2 cycles

findings show that in cycle I, 6 out of 13 students or 46.16%o get the
score of 7 5 and above while 7 students or 53 .84o/o get the score of 7 5 and below.
In cycle Il,12 out of 13 students get the score of 75 and above while I student or
7.70%getthe score of 75 andbelow.
It can be concluded that studentso skill in
Teaching Leaming (CTL) at grade V of SDN
be increased.
