Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah: Apakah motivasi belajar menulis paragraf pada siswa kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Almourky Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode karya wisata? Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar menulis paragraf melalui metode karya wisata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan tehnik pengumpulan data observasi dan dokumentasi. Melalui tahap observasi awal, dari 24 siswa, motivasi belajar menulis paragraf siswa rata-rata 49, kriteria baik 0%, kriteria cukup 21%, dan kriteria kurang 79%. Pada siklus I meningkat menjadi rata-rata 68,5, kriteria baik 4%, kriteria cukup 92%, kriteria kurang 4%, dan pada siklus II menjadi rata-rata 82, kriteria baik 71%, kriteria cukup 75%, kriteria kurang 0%. Disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar menulis paragraf dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode karya wisata. Kata Kunci : Motivasi belajar, menulis paragraf, metode karya wisata. Problem statement of this research is whether or not by applying Karya Wisata method, students' learning motivation in writing paragraph grade IV in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Almourky, Sub-district of Telaga, District of Gorontalo can be improved. It aims at improving students' learning motivation in writing paragraph by applying Karya Wisata method on grade IV in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Almourky, Sub-district of Telaga, District of Gorontalo. It apllies classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles with observation and documentation as techniques of data collection. Based on preliminary observation, on 24 students that have been observed, the result shows that average of students' learning motivation in writing paragraph is 49, 0% of students are in good criteria, 21% of students are in sufficient criteria, and 79% of students are in lack criteria. In cycle I, average students' learning motivation in writing paragraph increases to 68,5, percentage of students who are in good criteria increases to 4%, in sufficient criteria increases to 92%, and percentage of those who are in lack criteria decreases to 4%. Meanwhile, average students' learning motivation in writing paragraph becomes 82. Then, percentage of those in good criteria becomes 71%, in sufficient criteria becomes 75%, and in lack criteria becomes 0%. Thus, it can be counluded that by applying Karya Wisata method, students' learning motivation in writing paragraph can be improved.
