Abstrak
Nur' Aini, 2016. Penerapan Model Role Playing Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bermain Drama Pada Siswa Kelas V SDN 81 Kota Tengah. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah dengan penerapan model Role Playing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa bermain drama di kelas V SDN 81 Kota Tengah? Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menerapkan model rele playing dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bermain drama siswa kelas V di SDN 81 kota tengah. Metode penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, non tes dan dokumentasi. Yang menjadi indikator dalam penelitian ini adalah ekspresi, penghayatan, pelafalan dan intonasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model role playing dalam bermain drama pada siswa kelas V, secara keseluruhan siswa yang mampu bermain drama melalui penerapan model role playing berjumlah 20 orang atau 86,95%, siswa yang kurang mampu bermain drama melalui penerapan model role playing berjumlah 3 orang atau 13,04% dan yang tidak mampu bermain drama melalui model role playing tidak ada atau 0%. Dari hasil penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model role playing kemampuan bermain drama pada sisiwa kelas V SDN 81 Kota Tengah meningkat.

Problem statement of this research is that whether or not the implementation of role playing model can improve students' playing drama at grade V of SDN 81 Kota Tengah. This research aims at implementing Role Playing model in improving playing drama ability of grade V students of Kota Tengah. It is a classroom action research which its data are collected throngh observation, non test and documentation. Indicators of this research are expression, appreciation, pronunciation, and intonation.
Research findings and its discussion reveal that based on early observation, 5 students out of 23 or 21,74% are able to play drama and 18 students or 78,26% are not able to do it. Then, in cycle I, it is improved to be 8 students or 34,78% who are categorized able while 15 student or 65,22% are not able. This case does not meet the determined to be 20 students or 86,96% are able and the remaining 3 students or 13,04% are not able. Afterwards, the students who are stillunable is provided a guidance individually. This reveals that the determined indicators are achieved, thus it is not continued to next stage. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of Role Playing model can improve playing drama ability at grade V students of SDN 81 of Kota Tengah.
