Abstrak
Gusti Thurisina Moo. 2013. Improve Student Reading Ability Through Konstruktvisme Illustrated Story Students In Class III Elementary Instruction District maleo Paguat Pohuwato. Supervisor I Dra. Hawa Pattiiha, S.Pd M.Pd and Supervisor II Dr. Yusuf Jafar, M.Pd Is the problem of this research is the ability of students to read picture story through third grade elementary konstruktvisme in maleo Instruction District Paguat Pohuwato can be improved. The purpose of this research is to improve students' ability to read picture story konstruktvisme through third grade in the elementary school classroom Instruction maleo Pohuwato. The method used in the study was a class act by using data analysis kualitatif.Penelitian implemented in class III by the number of students consisting of 34 males 23 males 11 perempuan.Penilitian held by two cycles beginning with the initial observation. From the results of the activity in the 2 cycles seen that in the beginning of the observation data the percentage of students is only 26% capacity. The first cycle to 58%. Therefore on the first cycle has not reached 75% then proceed to the second cycle of action and an increase in the percentage of students' abilities to 88%. This shows that the performance indicators in this study has been achieved. Conclusions from this research is that the application of constructivism to the material read picture story with a proven ability to increase student well.
