ADAM APRILIA SUSANTY 2018. Deskripsi Minat dan Motivasi Siswa Dalam Mempelajari IPA di SDN 3, SDN 4, SDN 13, SDN 14 Kecamatan Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo.Skripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat dan motivasi siswa dalam mempelajari IPA di SDN 3, SDN 4, SDN 13, SDN 14 Kecamatan Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana minat dalam mempelajari IPA di di SDN 3, SDN 4, SDN 13, SDN 14 Kecamatan Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo dan bagaimana motivasi siswa dalam mempelajari IPA di SDN 3, SDN 4, SDN 13, SDN 14 Kecamatan Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif yang membahas mengenai deskripsi minat dan motivasi siswa dalam mempelajari IPA.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Untuk SDN 3 Kota Barat sebagian besar pada kategori tinggi yaitu 10 siswa (47.62%), SDN 4 Kota Barat sebagian besar pada kategori tinggi yaitu 10 orang siswa (55.56%), SDN 13 Kota Barat sebagian sebagian besar pada kategori tinggi yaitu 13 orang siswa (43.33%), SDN 14 Kota Barat sebagian besar pada kategori tinggi yaitu 6 (40.00%). Sedangkan variabel motivasi juga memiliki kategori yang berbeda berdasarkan distribusi frekuensi masing masing indikator. Untuk SDN 3 Kota Barat sebagian besar pada kategori tinggi yaitu 9 siswa (42.86%), untuk SDN 4 Kota sebagian besar pada kategori rendah yaitu 9 orang siswa (50.00%), SDN 13 Kota Barat sebagian besar pada kategori tinggi yaitu 15 orang siswa (50.00%), juga dengan SDN 14 Kota Barat yang juga sebagian besar pada kategori tinggi yaitu 8 (53.33%).

This study aims to describe the interest and motivation of students in studying Natural Science at Elementary School SDN 3, SDN 4, SDN 13, SDN 14 Kota Barat District, Gorontalo city. The problems statement of this research is how the students' interest and motivation in studying science at Elementary School SDN 3, SDN 4, SDN 13, SDN 14 Kota Barat District, Gorontalo are. This study used a quantitative descriptive method that discusses students' interest and motivation in studying Natural Science.
The results of this study shows that in SDN 3 is mostly in high category with 10 students (47.62%),SDN 4 is also in the high category of 10 students (55.56%), SDN 13 shows the same result that is in high category of 13 students (43.33%), and for SDN 14 is also in high category with 6 students (40.00%). On the other hand, the motivation variables also have various categories bassed on the frequency distribution of each indicator. SDN 3 Kota Barat is mostly in the high category that is 9 students (42.86%), SDN 4 is ina low category that is 9 student (50.00%), SDN 13 shows high category with 15 students (50.00%), and the lastis SDN 14 which is also mostly in high categori consists of 8 students (53.33%).
