Rumusan masalah Apakah penggunaan media kantong nilai tempat dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep mengurang bilangan cacah pada siswa kelas 3 SDN 2 Telaga Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo?. Dan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep mengurang bilangan cacah melali media kantong nilai tempat pada siswa kelas 3 SDN 2 Telaga Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus dilakukan melalui empat tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pemantauan dan evaluasi, tahap analisis dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I yang paham konsep mengurang bilangan cacah melalui media kantong nilai tempat sebanyak 16 siswa atau 55,1% dan yang belum paham sebanyak 13 siswa atau 44,8% hal ini belum sesuai dengan indikator yang ditetapkan yakni minimal 75% siswa yang dikenai tindakan memperoleh nilai 75 keatas sehingga dilanjutkan pada siklus ke II , pada siklus ke II yang paham konsep mengurangi bilangan cacah melalui media kantong nilai tempat sebanyak 24 siswa atau 82,7% dan yang belum paham sebanyak 5 siswa atau 17% kemudian siswa yang belum paham tersebut diberikan bimbingan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa dengan melalui media kantong nilai tempat pemahaman konsep mengurang bilangan cacah pada siswa kelas III SDN 2 Telaga Kecamatan Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo meningkat.

The Problem statement in this study is "Is the use of place value media able to improve the understanding concept of reducing the counting number on grade III SDN 2 Telaga Gorontalo Regency students?" The purpose of this research is to improve the concept understanding of reducing the counting numbers through value place media on grade III SDN 2 Telaga Gorontalo Regency students. This research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles where each cycle is done through four phases: preparation phase. Data collection tecniques used in this classroom actions research were observation documentation, and tests.
The results of the research show that in cycle I, as many as 16 students or 55.1% understood the concept of reducing the counting numbers through place value and there were 13 students or 44.8% who did not. It was not in accordnce with the established indicator that the objects obtain at least over 75% of the score thus the research was continued to the cycle II. In this cycle, as many as 24 students or 82.7% understood the concept of reducing the counting numbers through the place value media and there were 5 students or 17% who did not. Therefore, students who have not understood are given more guidance. Based ont the results and discussion of the research, it is concluded that through the place value media in concept understanding of reducing the counting number on students at grade III SDN 2 Telaga Gorontalo Regency imrove.
