Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah "Apakah melalui penggunaan media poster kemampuan menulis dialog pada siswa kelas V SDN 03 Limboto Barat dapat meningkat ?".Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis dialog menggunakan media poster pada siswa kelas V SDN 03 Limboto Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa dari 22 siswa yang mampu menulis dialog hanya 5 siswa atau (22,72%). Pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan menjadi 14 siswa (63,64%) yang mampu menulis dialog menggunakan media poster. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 21 siswa atau (95,45%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media poster dapatmeningkatkan kemampuanmenulis dialog pada siswa kelas V SDN 03 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo.

The objective of this study is to improve dialog writing ability of grade V students. SDN 03 Limboto Barat by using poster media. It is to answer the research problem "whether or not the students" dialog writing can be improved through the use of the media. This classroom action research employed methods, such as test, observation, and documentation to collect the data.
The result of the initial observation reveal that five only five out of 22 students are able to write dialog (22.72%). Furthermore , by using poster media, the total student who are able to write dialogue properly are increased to 14 student (63.64%) in cycle I. The number is further increased in cycle II with a total of 21 students (95.45%). In other words, the use of poster is able to improve dialog writing ability of grade V students, Elementary School SDN 3 Limboto Barat, Gorontalo Regency.
