Permasalahannya Apakah melalui model Direct Instruction, dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa membaca nyaring di kelas II SDN 14 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo?, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa membaca nyaring melalui model Direct Instruction di kelas II SDN 14 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari observasi awal yang mampu membaca nyaring 7 siswa atau 35%, belum mampu membaca nyaring 13 siswa atau 65%, pada siklus I yang mampu membaca nyaring 12 siswa atau 60%, belum mampu 8 siswa atau 40%, hal ini belum sesuai dengan indikator yang ditetapkan yakni minimal 75% siswa yang dikenai tindakan memperoleh nilai 75 keatas sehingga dilanjutkan pada siklus ke II, untuk siklus II yang mampu membaca nyaring 17 siswa atau 85%, belum mampu 3 siswa atau 15%, siswa yang belum mampu diberikan bimbingan khusus sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa dengan melalui model Direct Instruction kemampuan siswa membaca nyaring di kelas II SDN 14 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo meningkat.

The Reseach Problem Can The Of loud reading improve by umodels direct instruction? And the purpose of the research in to improve the loud reading abilitys of the second class of SDN 14 Limboto Barat Gorontalo District by using direct instruction. The method used in classroom action reseach.
The results showed that in the first cycle that is able to read aloud as many as 12 students or 60% and who have not been able to as many as 8 students or 40% of this is not in accordance with the established indicator that is at least 75% of students who are subjected to acts get the value of 75 and above, Cycle II, in the second cycle that is able to read aloud as many as 17 students or 85% and who have not been able to as many as 3 students or 15% then students who have not been able to be given guidance. Based on the results of research and discussion concluded that through direct instruction model of learning ability of students reading loudly on grade II students SDN 14 West Limboto Gorontalo increased.
