Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada pelajaran IPS di SDN 23 Dungingi Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada pelajaran IPS di SDN 23 Dungingi Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pre experimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN 23 Dungingi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu secara sampling jenuh (sengaja), dimana semua anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi sampel adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Dimana semua anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode resitasi dengan metode konvensional. Dimana thitung = 21,95 dan ttabel = 1,729. Rerata hasil belajar siswa di kelas perlakuan sebelum menggunakan metode resitasi yaitu 11,10 dan setelah menggunakan metode resitasi yaitu 21,70. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 21,95 dan ttabel = 1,729 atau thitung > ttabel, dengan kata lain thitung berada diluar daerah penerimaan hipotesis H0 (H0 ditolak) yang berarti menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1 diterima). Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode resitasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS setelah menggunakan metode resitasi.

The problem in this research is whether there is influence of recitation method to the result of fourth grade student learning at IPS lesson in SDN 23 Dungingi City Gorontalo. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of recitation method on the result of fourth grade student learning at IPS lesson at SDN 23 Dungingi, Gorontalo city. This research is done by using pre experimental design method with one group pretest-posttest design. Population in this research is all student of class IV in SDN 23 Dungingi. Sampling technique is sampling saturated (deliberately), where all members of the population serve as a sample of research. In this study, the sample is a student class IV of 20 students. Where all members of the population serve as research samples. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, tests and documentation.
The results showed that there was a difference between student learning outcomes using the method of recitation by conventional methods. Where thitung = 21.95 and ttable = 1.729. Average of result of student learning in treatment class before using recitation method that is 11.10 and after using recitation method that is 21.70. Based on the hypothesis testing criteria obtained tcount = 21.95 and ttable = 1.729 or tcount> ttable, in other words thitung is outside the acceptance of hypothesis H0 (H0 rejected) which means accept alternative hypothesis (H1 accepted). It can be concluded that there is influence of recitation method to student learning outcomes on IPS subject after using recitation method.
