Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model mind mapping dikombinasi media kartu kata dan model mind mapping dikombinasi media kartu gambar di kelas V SDN 3 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model mind mapping dikombinasi media kartu kata dan model mind mapping dikombinasi media kartu gambar di kelas V SDN 3 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control qroup design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan tehnik puposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 3 Telaga yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen yang dibelajarkan dengan model mind mapping dikombinasi media kartu kata sebesar 77,39 dan kelompok kontrol yang dibelajarkan dengan model mind mapping dikombinasi kartu gambar 64,39. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 3,50 dan ttabel = 2,03 atau thitung > ttabel. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan model mind mapping dikombinasi media kartu kata dan kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan model mind mapping dikombinasi media kartu gambar pada siswa kelas V SDN 3 Telaga Kabupaten Gorontalo.

The problem statement in this research is whether or not there are differences of students' learning outcomes on natural science subject between using mind mapping model and word card media combination and using mind mapping model and picture card media combination at grade V Elementary school SDN 3 Telaga, Gorontalo Regency. This research is intended to reveal the learning outcomes on natural science subject of two students group; the groups were taught by using mind mapping model and word card media combination and using mind mapping model and picture card media combination. This quasi-experimental design research involved all of the students in the site area as the samples by employing purposive sampling technique with nonequivalent control group. Based on the result, the mean value of experimental group posttest using mind mapping model and word card media combination is 77,39 and control group using mind mapping model and picture card combination is 64,39. In other words, the mean value of the experimental group posttest is higher than the mean of the control group's posttest. Hypothesis testing results obtains tcount = 3.50 and ttable = 2.03 or tcount> ttable. It can be concluded that there are differences of students' learning outcomes on natural science subject between using mind mapping model and word card media combination and using mind mapping model and picture card media combination at grade V Elementary school SDN 3 Telaga, Gorontalo Regency.
