Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah " Apakah terdapat pengaruh model problem based instruction terhadap hasil belajar operasi hitung campuran bilangan cacah pada siswa kelas III SDN 49 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo?. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based instruction terhadap hasil belajar operasi hitung campuran bilangan cacah pada siswa kelas III SDN 49 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskripsi kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental One group pretest-posttest. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh, artinya semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III sebanyak 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan prasyarat tes : uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan thitung =10,72 dan ttabel = 2,07 thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (10,72 > 2,07) maka hasilnya signifikan. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model problem based instruction terhadap hasil belajar operasi hitung campuran bilangan cacah pada siswa kelas III SDN 49 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo.

This study is intended to find out the effect of the Problem-based instruction model on learning outcomes of calculation operations of whole numbers mixed at grade III students of Elementary School SDN 48 HulonthalangiGorontalo City based on the problem statement of this study. This study is quantitative description research with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. Sampling is done by using saturated sampling, meaning that all members of the population are sampled. Thus, the sample in this study were all third-grade students as many as 23 students. Data were collected through test prerequisites: validity test, reliability test, normality test and hypothesis testing using the ttest. The results showed that tcount = 10.72 and ttable= 2.07 tcount was higher than ttable (10.72> 2.07) then the results were significant. Hence, H0is rejected,and Ha is accepted. It is concluded that there was an effect of the problem based instruction model on the learning outcomes of Calculation operations of Whole Numbers Mixed at grade III students of ElementarySchool SDN 49 Hulonthalangi, Gorontalo City.
