Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah " Apakah terdapat pengaruh model role playing terhadap kemampuan memahami cerita pada siswa kelas V SDN 12 Dulupi Kab. Bolemo?. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui pengaruh model role playing terhadap kemampuan memahami cerita pada siswa kelas V SDN 12 Dulupi Kab. Boalemo. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskripsi kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental One group pretest-posttest. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh, artinya semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V sebanyak 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan prasyarat tes : uji validitas, uji realiabilitas, uji normalits dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ttabel = 2,08 dan thitung =19,36 thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (19,36 > 2,08) maka hasilnya signifikan. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model role playing terhadap kemampuan memahami cerita pada siswa kelas V SDN 12 Dulupi Kab. Boalemo.

The problem statement of this study is "Is there an influence on the role playing model in stories understanding on grade V studentsâ ability at Elementary School of SDN 12 Dulupi, Boalemo Regency?" This study purposes to determine the effect of role playing in stories understanding on grade V studentsâ ability at the research site. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a pre-experimental One group pretest-posttest design. Sampling was done by using saturated sampling, meaning that all members of the population are sampled. Furthermore, the sample in this study was all students of grade V as many as 21 students. The technique of data collection was carried out with test prerequisites: validity test, reliability test, normality test and hypothesis testing using the t test.
The results show that ttable = 2.08 and tcount = 19.36 means tcount is greater than ttable (19.36> 2.08) thus the results are significant. So that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it concludes that there is an influence of role playing model in stories understanding on grade V studentsâ ability at Elementary School of SDN 12 Dulupi, Boalemo Regency.
