Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah ..."Apakah melalui Metode Karya Wisata Kemampuan Siswa Mencipta Syair Lagu Sederhana di Kelas V SDN 2 Telaga Biru Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo dapat Meningkat? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Siswa Mencipta Syair Lagu Sederhana melalui Metode Karya Wisata di Kelas V SDN 2 Telaga Biru Kecamatan Telaga Biru Kabupaten Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan/tindakan, pemantauan dan refleksi dalam dua kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan siswa mencipta syair lagu sederhana dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode karya wisata, pada siklus I yang mampu 9 orang atau 34 %, yang tidak mampu ada 17 atau 65 %, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat 22 orang atau 84 %, yang tidak mampu 4 orang atau 15 %. Disimpulkan bahwa dengan melalui metode karya wisata kemampuan siswa mencipta syair lagu sederhana di kelas V SDN 2 Telaga Biru Kecamatan Telaga Biru kabupaten Gorontalo Meningkat.

The problem statement of this research is "Can Grade V Students' Ability to Create Simple Song Lyrics at SDN 2 Telaga Biru, Telaga Biru sub-district Gorontalo District be Increased through Field-Trip Method? This study aims to improve grade V students ability to create simple song lyrics through field-trip method.
This research employed a classroom action research design which carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation/action, monitoring and reflection in two meetings. The results indicate that the ability of students to create simple song lyrics can be improved through the field-trip method. In the first cycle, there were 9 capable students or 34% and 17 incapable students or 65%, meanwhile in the second cycle, there were 22 capable students or 84% and 4 incapable students or 15%. Therefore, it concludes that through the field-trip method, Grade V students' ability to create simple song lyricsat Elementary School of SDN 2 Telaga Biru, Telaga Biru Sub-District, Gorontalo District, increased.
