Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kemampuan siswa menulis dongeng menggunakan metode permainan Treasure Hunt di kelas VI SDN No. 32 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa menulis dongeng menggunakan metode permainan Treasure Hunt di kelas VI SDN No. 32 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian deskriptif. Peneliti sebagai instrumen sekaligus pengumpul data. Kegiatan analisis yang dilakukan adalah menelaah data yang diperoleh, mereduksi data, dan menyimpulan data. Hasil penelitian tentang kemampuan siswa menulis dongeng menggunakan metode permainan Treasure Hunt di kelas VI SDN No. 32 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo dari sejumlah 25 siswa, yang mampu terdapat 20 atau 80% siswa, kurang mampu 3 atau 12% siswa, dan tidak mampu 2 atau 8% siswa dalam menulis dongeng menggunakan metode permainan Treasure Hunt. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas VI SDN No. 32 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo sudah mampu dalam menulis dongeng metode permainan Treasure Hunt. Adapun saran peneliti yakni hendaknya ketika mengajar harus bijak memilih metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan mata pelajaran, karakteristik siswa, serta keadaan lingkungan sekolah. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, semoga bisa menjadi bahan referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

The problem of this study is to find out the ability of students in composing fairytale story through treasure hunt game method. This study aims to describe student's ability to write fairytale story by using treasure hunt method in the sixth grade in elemetary school SDN No. 32 Kota Selatan in Gorontalo City. This study uses the descriptive method. In this study, the researcher takes the role of the instrument as well as the data collector. The data analysis technique involved reviewing, the collected data , and concluding the data.The results of this study shows that there are 20 students or 80 % out of 25 steduents are capable of writing fairytale story using treasure hunt games method research site are able to write a fairy tale by the implementation of treasure hunt games method. In addition, there are 3 students or 12 % and two or 8 % students who are moderately capable and incapable respectively in writing by using the method. It can be concluded that the students of the sixth grade at SDN No. 32 Kota Selatan Gorontalo City are able to compose fairytale stories by using treasure hunt game mathod. It is suggested that in the teaching process, suitable learning method should be selected, based on subjects, students' characteristics, and the school environment. This research is expected to provide a recomendation for further study.
