Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah : Bagaimana kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture di kelas VI SDN 32 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo, dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture di kelas VI SDN 32 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo. Analisis data yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskripsi kualitatif.
Dari hasil penelitian yang peneliti temui bahwa kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture di kelas VI SDN 32 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo, yaitu 15 siswa sudah mampu menulis cerpen menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture. Data ini diperoleh dari hasil tulisan siswa itu sendiri yaitu menulis cerpen menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture. dari 19 siswa kelas VI, siswa yang mampu berjumlah 15 siswa atau 79 % dan yang kurang mampu berjumlah 3 siswa atau 15,8 % sedangkan yang tidak mampu berjumlah 1 siswa atau 5,2 %. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas VI SDN 32 Kota Selatan Kota Gorontalo sudah mampu menulis cepen menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture.

The problem statement of this study is: how do students write short stories using picture and picture learning modes in grade VI at Elementary of SDN 32 Kota Selatan Gorontalo City. The purpose is to describe students' ability to write short stories using picture and picture learning models in the research area; in analyzing the data using qualitative description technique.
The results showed that the ability of students to write short stories using picture and picture learning models in grade VI SDN 32 Kota Selatan Gorontalo City as many as 15 students were able to write short stories using picture and picture learning models. This data is obtained from the results of short story writing of students using picture and picture learning models. Of the 19 class V students, there were 15 students or 79% who were able to write and 3 students or 15.8% who were less competent, while 1 student or 5.2% were less. Based on the results of research data, it can be concluded that grade VI students are able to write short stories using pictures and picture of learning models.
