Rumusan Masalah dalam penelitian adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model take and give terhadap hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model take and give terhadap hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskripsi kuantitatif dengan desain pree eksperimental one group pretest posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Limboto Kabupaten gorontalo. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh, artinya semua anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel sehingga sampel pada penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Limboto sebanyak 20 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan tiga prasyarat yakni uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan uji normalitas. Sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t.
Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat sebelum menggunakan model take and give yaitu 53.3 dan sesudah menggunakan model take and give yaitu 79.4. dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dependen diperoleh thitung=85.19 dan ttabel= 2.093pada taraf = 0.05, sehingga thitung>ttabel. Berarti Ho ditolak dan menerima Ha. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model take and give terhadap hasil belajar penjumlahan bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo.

This research is aimed to find out whether or not implementing Take and Give model contributes to learning outcome of grade IV students, elementary school SDN 1 Limboto, in discussing round number addition. It is generated from the problem statement of research. This quantitative descriptive research employed one-group pretest-posttest. All grade IV students in the research site were involved as the population. The sample, consisting of 20 students selected from the total population, were selected by using saturated sample. A set of test, comprising validity, reliability, and normality test was due to examine the collected data. T-test was used to test the hypothesis.
It is revealed that there is an increase in the average score of the students after implementing take and give model. The score prior to the implementation of the learning model is 53.3, and it is raised to 79.4. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing, using dependent t-test, shows that the value ofcount=85.19 and ttable=2.093, meaning that Tcount>Ttable at the significant level =0.05. this also signifies that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, implementing Take and Give model contributes to learning outcome of grade IV students, elementary school SDN 1 Limboto, in discussing round number addition.
