Abstrak

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran think pair share terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan asli di kelas III SDN 106 Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo. Dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran think pair share terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan asli di kelas III SDN 106 Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo. Desain penelitian yang digunakan Pre-experimental tipe one group pretest posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN 106 Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo, sampel sebanyak 20 siswa dan teknik pengambilan sampel yakni sampling jenuh. Pada tehnik pengumpulan data dengan prasyarat pengujian tes : uji validitas, uji realiabilitas dan uji normalitas, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar perkalian dan pembagian bilangan asli sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran think pair share yaitu 57, dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran think pair share yaitu 77.6. Dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dependen diperoleh thitung = 19.59 dan ttabel = 2.093 pada taraf = 0.05%, sehingga thitung > ttabel. Jadi terbukti hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran think pair share terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan asli di SDN 106 Kota Utara Kota Gorontalo

The study aims to identify the influence of Think Pair Share method towards studentsâ learning outcome in topic of multiplying and dividing real numbers in 3rd grade students of Elementary School SDN 106 Kota Utara, Gorontalo City. It is formulated based on the research questions. The pre-experimental study employed One Group Pretest-Posttest design. 20 students were selected as the research samples by saturated sampling technique from the population of all students in the school. The data were collected and analyzed by validity test, reliability test, normality test, and hypothesis T-test.
The result shows that the studentsâ average score in topic of multiplying and dividing real numbers prior to the treatment is 57, moreover, it increases to 77.6 after the treatment. Further, the dependent t test results in tcount = 19.59 dan ttable = 2.093 at degree of 0.05%, thus, tcount outnumbers ttable.. Hence, this signifies that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted; that being said, the hypothesis, i.e.: Think Pair Share model contributes towards students learning outcome in multiplying and dividing real numbers in the research site, is valid.
