Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa di kelas V SDN 6 Kabila Kecamatan Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pre eksperimental dengan nama desain one group pretest - posttest. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, nilai rata-rata hasil kemampuan berbicara siswa sebelum menggunakan media gambar seri yaitu 67,45 dan setelah menggunakan media gambar seri yaitu 82,31. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji t diperoleh harga thitung sebesar 16,9 sedangkan ttabel pada tingkat signifikan 5% diperoleh 2,085. Ternyata harga thitung lebih besar daripada harga ttabel, maka hasil signifikan. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Simpulan hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa di kelas V SDN 6 Kabila Kecamatan Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango.

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of image series media on students' speaking ability in the fifth grade of elementary school SDN 6 Kabila, District of Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency. This research applied pre experimental research method with one group pretest - posttest design. Techniques employed in data collection were tests, observations, and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using t test.
The results of research and discussion reveal that the average value of the students' speaking ability before using the image series media is 67.45 and after using the image series media is 82.31. The data analysis using t test obtains tcount value of 16.9 meanwhile ttable at a significant level of 5% obtains 2.085. It turns out that tcount value is bigger than ttable value, thus the outcome is significant. Therefore, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concludes that there is an influence of using of image series media on students' speaking skill in the fifth grade in Elementary School SDN 6 Kabila, District of Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency.
