Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah melalui Media Audio Visual Kemampuan Menyimak Informasi Faktual Siswa Kelas IV SDN 8 Tilango Kabupaten akan meningkat?ââ adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Siswa Kelas IV SDN 8 Tilango Dalam Menyimak Informasi Faktual Melalui Media Audio Visual.
Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 8 Tilango Kabupaten Gorontalo dengan jumlah siswa 21 orang yang terdiri dari 10 orang laki-laki dan 11 orang perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan/tindakan, pemantauan, evaluasi, dan refleksi.
Observasi awal tingkat kemampuan rata-rata siswa dalam menyimak (14%) atau 7 orang siswa yang mampu, dan 14 orang tidak mampu. Siklus I pertemuan I, terdapat 28% atau 6 orang siswa yang memperoleh kriteria mampu, dan 71% atau 15 orang siswa memperoleh kriteria tidak mampu. Siklus I pertemuan II meningkat menjadi 48% atau 10 orang siswa memperoleh kriteria mampu, dan 53% atau 11 orang siswa memperoleh kriteria tidak mampu. Siklus II, meningkat menjadi 95% atau 20 orang siswa yang memperoleh kriteria mampu, dan 5% atau 1 orang memperoleh kriteria tidak mampu atau indikator kinerja tercapai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan melalui media Audio Visual, maka kemampuan menyimak siswa meningkat.

The problem statement of this study is "Can Audio-Visual Media enhance the Listening skill to Factual Information at Grade IV Students of Elementary School SDN 8 Tilango?" The purpose is to increase the ability of Grade IV Students of SDN 8 Tilango in listening skill to factual information through Audio-visual media. Further, the subject is the fourth-grade students of SDN 8 Tilango Gorontalo Regency with a total of 21 students consisting of 10 boys and 11 girls. This study applies a classroom action research design carried out in two cycles, which consists of four stages, i.e., planning, implementation/action, monitoring, evaluation, and reflection.
Early observation of the average level of students' ability in listening (14%) or 6 students, and 66.66% or 14 students were still lacking. In the first cycle of the first meeting, there were 28% or 6 students who obtained the competent criteria, and 71% or 15 students were incompetent. The first cycle of meeting II increased to 48% or 10 students obtained criteria competent, and 53% or 11 students were incompetent. Cycle II increased to 95% or 20 students, who were competent, and 5% or 1 person obtained the criteria of incompetence or performance indicators achieved. Based on the results, it can be concluded that through Audio-Visual media, the ability students in listening skill to factual information is increased.
