Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu "Apakah Melalui Model Numbered Heads Together dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca teks narasi pada siswa kelas IV SDN 08 Tilango Kabupaten Gorontalo ? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca teks narasi melalui model numbered heads together di kelas IV SDN 08 Tilango kabupaten gorontalo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Hipotesis Tindakan Dalam Penelitian ini adalah "Jika Guru Menggunakan Model Numbered Heads Together maka kemampuan membaca teks narasi di kelas IV SDN 08 Tilango Kabupaten Gorontalo dapat meningkat?.
Pada observasi awal diperoleh data dari 21 orang siswa hanya 7 orang siswa (14%) yang mampu dalam membaca teks narasi. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan model Numbered Heads Together dari 21 orang siswa yang dikenai tindakan pada siklus I Pertemuan I hanya 5 orang siswa (24%) yang memiliki kemampuan membaca teks narasi, pada data siklus I Pertemuan II meningkat menjadi 11 orang (52%) yang sudah memiliki kemampuan membaca teks narasi, kemudian pada data siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 19 orang siswa (90%) yang sudah memiliki kemampuan membaca teks narasi. Dalam hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang dilakukan, maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa melalui model numbered heads together kemampuan membaca teks narasi di kelas IV SDN 08 Tilango kabupaten gorontalo meningkat.

The problem statement of this study is "Can the Numbered Heads Together Model improve the ability to read narrative texts towards grade IV students at Elementary of SDN 08 Tilango, Gorontalo Regency?" This study is intended to improve the ability to narrative texts through the numbered heads together model towards grade IV students at the research site. This research employed Class Action Research (CAR). The Action Hypothesis in this study is "Will the ability to read narrative texts at grade IV Elementary of SDN 08 Tilango, Gorontalo Regency increase if the teacher uses the Numbered Heads Together model?"
In the preliminary observation, the data obtained from 21 students. There were only 7 students (14%) who were able to read narrative texts. Furthermore, the results of class action research using the Numbered Heads Together model showed that out of 21 students who were subjected to action, in the cycle I of Meeting I, were only 5 students (24%) who had the ability to read narrative texts; in the Data cycle I Meeting II increased to 11 people (52% ) who already have the ability to read narrative texts; then, in the cycle II data increased again to 19 students (90%) who already have the ability to read narrative texts. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the ability to read narrative texts in grade IV SDN 08 Gorontalo District Tilango can be increased through the numbered heads together model.
