Rumusan masalah Bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran problem based instruction dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn kelas IV SDN 82 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn di kelas IV SDN 82 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pengamatan dan refleksi.
Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada siklus pertemuan 1 dan pertemuan 2 dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based instruction dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn di kelas IV SDN 82 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo, hal ini ditinjau dari meningkatnya motivasi belajar siswa dari 63% naik menjadi 87%.

Problem formulation How is the application of problem based instruction learning models in increasing student learning motivation in subjects in class IV Civics SDN 82 Kota Tengah Gorontalo City? The purpose of this study was to increase student motivation in PKn subjects in grade IV SDN 82 Kota Tengah Gorontalo City through a Problem Based Instruction learning model. The method used is classroom action research with the subject of the research are class IV students, amounting to 20 students. This research was carried out in the form of a cycle and each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation phase, the observation and reflection stages.
Based on the research conducted in the first meeting cycle 2 and meeting 2 it can be concluded that using a learning based problem learning model can increase student learning motivation in PKn subjects in grade IV SDN 82 Kota Tengah Gorontalo City, this is viewed from increasing student learning motivation from 63 % rose to 87%.
