Abstrak
Paneo, Iswan. 2020. Pengembangan Media Pembelajara IPA Berbasis Magic Science Experimen Materi Energi dan Perubahannya di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Kota Gorontalo. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimanakah produk terakhir media pembelajaran IPA berbasis magic science eksperimen materi energi dan perubahannya (2) Bagaimanakah efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis magic science eksperimen materi energi dan perubahannya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Model penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengacu pada model Penelitian 4D menurut Thiagarajan dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah 19 orang.
Hasil penelitian ini yaitu beradasarkan hasil uji coba penelti memperoleh data yang mendukung bahwa produk yang dikembangkan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Dalam hasil uji coba terbatas mengenai media magic science memperoleh rata-rata 66% dan dari hasil observasi setelah menggunakan media magic science diperoleh nilai rata-rata 90, nilai tersebut lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar tanpa menggunakan media magic science dengan nilai rata-rata 60. Sehingga dikatakan media tersebut lebih efektif dan berpengaruh dalam hasil belajar siswa. Dalam pengujian hipotesis berdasarkan nilai pretest and posttest memperoleh hasil dimana thitung 26,5 sedangkan ttabel 1,734. Maka dapat disimpulkan thitung > ttabel, maka H1 diterima Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian hasil belajar siswa lebih efektif setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis magic science eksperimen materi energi dan perubahannya di kelas IV SDN 63 Kota Timur.

The formulation of the research problems are (1) How is the final product of science learning media based on magic science experiment with energy material and its changes (2) How is the effectiveness of using science learning media based on magic science experiment with energy material and its changes to student learning outcomes. This research model is a research and development which refers to the 4D Research model according to Thiagarajan with the research subjects of grade IV students with a total of 19 people.
The results of this study are based on the results of the researcher's trial, obtaining data that supports that the product developed is very suitable for use in learning. In the limited trial results regarding the media magic science, it got an average of 66% and the results of observations after using the magic science media obtained an average value of 90, this value is higher than the average value of learning outcomes without using magic science media with an average value -average 60. So it is said that the media is more effective and influential in student learning outcomes. In testing the hypothesis based on the pretest and posttest values ¢¢obtained results where t count was 26.5 while t table was 1.734. So it can be concluded that tcount> ttable, then H1 is accepted, Ho is rejected. Thus student learning outcomes are more effective after using science learning media based on magic science experiments on energy and its changes in grade IV SDN 63 Kota Timur.
